The Word of the Lord is alive and active. It cuts through to the very heart of our motives and thoughts. This is why the enemy tries to get us to do anything but read God’s Word, for he knows that when we do, we will be like Josiah and the Israelites, convicted and repenting, and changed from the inside out.
