Haggai 1-2. God spoke to Haggai in order to stir the hearts of the people to not give up on the rebuilding of the temple. What they thought looked like ruins, was just the beginning of God’s work of restoration. God had a plan beyond their wildest dreams. This plan would involve the healing and peace of the nations. Little did they know, a baby was soon to come, a baby born in Bethlehem who would give His life for the ransom of many and usher in a Heavenly kingdom.
