Esther 1-2.
God’s favor was upon Esther, just as His favor had been upon Joseph and Daniel in a foreign land. God’s favor is never an end unto itself. God places favor on the lives of His people for the calling He has placed on their lives. God calls you and I to live out a much larger story than revolves around just us. It’s not about what God can do for me, rather, it’s about what I can do for God!
