1 Samuel 13
King Saul took matters into his own hands and instead of waiting on Samuel, offered the sacrifices unto the Lord that were reserved for the priests. Sadly, king Saul failed his first test of obedience as king of Israel. God would look for another man, a man after His own heart to rule over Israel.
