Jonah 1-2. We are familiar with the story of Jonah, but not as familiar with Jonah’s prayer. In Jonah 2, we read one of the most beautiful prayers in the Bible. Jonah would have been very familiar with King David and his Psalms. Jonah would have grown up singing the Psalms. In the belly of a fish, Jonah remembered the prayers of David, and prayed his own cry for help…and God heard.
