God spoke to Moses through a burning bush. Standing on holy ground, in the presence of God, Moses received a commission to go to Egypt and lead the Israelites out of slavery. Well, not once, not twice, but FIVE TIMES did Moses hesitate and try to tell the Lord why he shouldn’t be the one to go! How gracious was the Lord to reassure Moses, not once, not twice, but five times in return, that He would go with him and help him to know what to do and say.
We can be in the very presence of God himself and hear Him calling us to step out of our comfort zone and into the work that He has for us, but if we’re not careful, fear and insecurity can keep us from being used by God. He never calls us to something that He will not go before us into. HE WILL DO IT. We just have to be willing to obey.
